The first step is to work out why you're having problems logging in. Check out the most common problems and their solutions.
If you are attempting to log into the courses directly, your email will not be recognised as you must log in via iAM Compliant
The page for iAM Compliant users to log in looks like this:
You will not be able to log in from this page:
- You've forgotten your password
- You can request a password reset here.
- You've forgotten your username
- Your username is your email address. To check which email address you should use, please check any communication that we have previously sent to you, such as the email inviting you to join the iAM Compliant account for your organisation.
- You no longer have access to the email address that your account is registered to
- Get in touch with us here so we can amend your details.
- You've made a typo when inputting your email address and/or password
- Please check that your email address is the same as the one that we have previously sent communications to. For example, the email inviting you to join the iAM Compliant account for your organisation.
- You're not receiving the password reset email
- Please check that your email address is the same as the one that we have previously sent communications to. For example, the email inviting you to join the iAM Compliant account for your organisation.
- Your account says that it has not been activated yet
- Please accept the invitation that you were sent by your organisation. If you believe that have already done this, then please get in contact with us here. If you have lost your invitation then you can ask your account admin to resend it to you.
- You're getting an error message that says the login is invalid or that you are not recognised as a user
- Check that the URL is for iAM Compliant (here) not iAM Learning. If you have bookmarked the training or if you have been sent a link that will take you directly to the training area, you will not be able to log in on that page - the only way for you to access the training area is by logging into iAM Compliant so we know what courses to show you.
- You've set up two factor authentication, but you've lost access to your mobile phone or the authentication codes
- Let our support team know here and we'll be able to remove the authentication from your account and reset your password.
- You're getting a message that says 'too many attempts'
- If you have attempted to log in 6 times within a one-minute period using incorrect credentials, this will trigger an alert in our systems indicating there is a potential external security threat to your account. Please ensure that you check your log in credentials and allow up to 5 minutes for the page to refresh before making another attempt to log in to your account.
- You're getting an error message that says your account has been locked for security reasons
- If you have attempted to log in to your account 10 times using incorrect credentials, your account will be temporarily locked to ensure the security of your iAM account. You will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to unlock your account. Please make sure to check your spam folder in case the email lands in this folder.
- Once you've received the email, you can unlock your account by clicking on the green "Unlock my account" button. You will automatically be directed back to the login page.
