What are the benefits of connecting my MIS to iAM via Wonde?

Connect your MIS to iAM via Wonde to reduce manual admin and help ensure pupil and staff information is easy to access across key areas of iAM.

Connecting your MIS via your Wonde account allows key pupil and staff information to be pulled into iAM, reducing the need to manually input the same details across multiple systems.

This data can then support incident management, medical records and communication with parents or next of kin, making it easier to access the right information across iAM.

Note: We are not using Wonde for provisioning or as a single sign on option. Students will not be added as users to your iAM account as a result of enabling this connection. There will be no interference with any Google or Microsoft SSO options that are enabled in your account.

Wonde brings relevant pupil and staff information from your MIS into iAM, giving your team quick access to current details while reducing the need to enter the same information again. This saves time, reduces manual admin and helps keep information consistent.

When recording an incident or accessing medical information, users can search for and select the relevant pupil or staff member, helping make sure information is linked to the correct individual.

Record incidents more accurately
When logging an incident, users can see auto-complete information for pupils and staff in the Affected person field. This helps create a clearer history of accidents or injuries for each individual, rather than relying on general person types or manual entry.

Get more from the Medical Register
Wonde brings relevant pupil and staff information into iAM, supporting the Medical Register feature by making it easier to view an individual’s medical information alongside their core details.

Support safer medical management
Having the right individual information available alongside medical conditions, medication and supporting documents helps authorised staff to access the information they need when making decisions or providing care.

Access parent and next-of-kin information when needed
Relevant contact details for those with parental responsibility for pupils, or named next of kin for staff can also be made available in iAM (where this is available in your MIS). This can help users send accident or injury notifications quickly from within the platform where appropriate.
