A location is a building or premise that your business operates from. Each location will have a type of use e.g. office, coffee shop, retail.
Examples
- If you are a chain of coffee shops then each of your shops is a location.
- If you have multiple offices in separate buildings, then each office is a location.
- If you operate a tourist attraction and have an office, coffee shop and gift shop in separate buildings, then each would be a location.
iAM does not impose any rules on how you should divide your business into locations, we recommend that you use a division that makes sense to you.
