How do I create a Climate Action Plan in iAM?

Create your Climate Action Plan in four guided steps, allowing you to align your plan with your organisation's objectives.

If you haven't done so already, this could be a good time to update your locations' geolocation information.

To begin creating a plan, navigate to the Sustainability menu and select Climate Action Plans.

To get started, you will first see a list of your account's locations.

Simply click the green Create Plan button for the location you want to create a plan for.

Once your plans have been created, you will also be able to easily view all the relevant details within this section.

To start creating your Climate Action Plan, simply click the green 'Get Started' button. If you only have one location, this is the first screen that you will see.

The process is divided into four key areas:
  • Decarbonisation
  • Adaption & Resilience
  • Biodiversity
  • Climate Education & Green Skills

Work through each section to begin tailoring your plan to align with your organisation's goals.

We offer a variety of template items to help you develop your climate action plan. You can easily add any initiatives or projects you're planning, such as installing solar panels or promoting energy-saving habits like turning off monitors by clicking 'add to plan'.

Additionally, you can also select key areas for improvement, like planting trees, launching community initiatives, or introducing ‘Meat-Free Fridays’. Simply click on the relevant options to incorporate them into your plan. When you are finished with a section, simply click Next to move to the next section.

After reviewing all areas, you'll have full access to your plan and can start customising it to fit your needs. There's no rush to add items immediately - feel free to revisit each section anytime to browse or add more actions to your plan.

Upon completion, you can easily download your plan as a PDF document, making it convenient for sharing with your organisation.
