What data will iAM Compliant receive from Wonde?

The information iAM can receive from Wonde depends on the features you are using and the permissions your school has approved.

Your MIS remains the source of this information. Wonde securely makes the relevant data available to iAM, where the required permissions have been approved by your organisation and the information is available within your MIS.

If you are using Incidents:

To support Incidents, iAM may receive relevant information about:

• Pupils – including name, year group, pupil identifiers and leaving date.

• Staff – including name, contact information, role/employment information and staff identifiers, next of kin (where this information is available within your MIS).

• Parents, carers and other contacts – including name, email address, relationship to the pupil and parental responsibility information.

This information helps iAM identify the people involved in an incident and link it to the correct pupil or member of staff, making incidents quicker and easier to log while helping to improve accuracy.

If you are using Medical:

Medical requires the same information used for Incidents, alongside some additional information to support pupil and staff medical records.

This may include:

• Additional pupil information – such as date of birth, address/postcode, email address, middle names, initials and additional pupil identifiers.

• Parent, carer and emergency contact information – including telephone numbers, email addresses, titles, emergency contact status and notification preferences.

• Classes, groups and subjects – including class/group names, descriptions and subject information.

• Medical conditions – including the condition name and description, symptoms, treatment, triggers, severity, priority, sensitivity, dates, emergency consent and emergency procedure information.

• Medical events – including event type, date, description and any follow up date.

• Medical notes – including the title and note recorded within the MIS.

• Photos – where available and permitted, to help identify the correct pupil or staff member.

• Additional staff information – such as title, initials and legal name information.

Does iAM receive all of this information for every school?

Not necessarily. The information available to iAM will depend on:

• The data held within your MIS

• The permissions your school(s) have approved/allowed iAM to read through Wonde

• If the relevant information is supported by your MIS provider.

• If you have purchased a Wonde integration subscription for each location from iAM.

If a permission required for a feature has previously been declined, your school may need to review and approve the additional permissions within Wonde before all functionality is available. Please see Managing School Connections guidance from Wonde or contact them directly for further assistance. 

Why does iAM need these permissions?

iAM only requests Wonde permissions that are recommended to support the relevant functionality in app and to improve and enhance your experience in using the Incident and Medical features. 

Approving the relevant permissions allows iAM to securely access the information already held in your MIS, making that information easier to access in the Incidents features when needed.


What data will Wonde receive from iAM Compliant?

We are not giving Wonde any data - they do not read anything from iAM Compliant. Wonde will only have access to data you've already agreed to share with them.
