You can change the dates of your financial year, but this should only be done when absolutely necessary to avoid any gaps or overlap from previous budgetary years.
If you need to make a change to your financial year, click the 'Edit configuration' button to be able to provide a new start date.
Please bear in mind that changing your financial year start date has the following implications:
- Any future budgets will be automatically updated to start and end on the new financial year boundaries
- Any current budgets extending beyond the new date may overlap with your new financial year (or may leave a gap). Budgets affected in this way can be adjusted manually.
