You are able to request contractors to create a Linked Trade Account so they can issue quotes and view additional information.
Once you have added a contractor to your iAM organisation, you are then able to issue them an invite to create an iAM trade account, this will make things far easier as the contractor will then have direct access to the vital iAM task information for the jobs they are assigned.
To invite a contractor to create an iAM Trade Account;
- Hover over 'Premises' in the navigation bar at the top of the page to bring up the dropdown menu
- Select 'Contractors'
- Click on the desired contractor
- Then click the blue 'Create Invitation' button
The contractor will then be sent an invitation to their saved email.
This trade account allows them access to a portion of iAM specifically for trades and enables them to view their assigned jobs/tasks and quote requests.
Once the invite has been accepted they will be prompted to create a password and join your iAM organisation as a trade account. In addition, you can view which contractors have successfully created linked trade accounts within the contractors section of your organisation's iAM account.
Whenever the contractor has an upcoming task to complete, they will have access to view the tasks and scheduling information directly within the iAM app, streamlining and simplifying their workflow.
