iAM helps you quickly identify incidents that may be classed RIDDOR reportable
⚠️ Please note: This is a guidance feature only. The final responsibility for confirming and submitting a RIDDOR report remains with the responsible person or organisation.
iAM reviews the details recorded in an incident form (such as type, severity, and outcome) using a high, medium, and low scoring system. It then applies predefined rules based on RIDDOR criteria to suggest whether the incident may be reportable under RIDDOR.
Red flag: A record with a red flag indicates a high RIDDOR score.
To view further guidance, open the incident record and click the Follow-up tab.
Based on the incident details, IAM provides a link to HSE RIDDOR guidance and will suggest the most appropriate RIDDOR form.
If you decide to report the incident to the HSE:
Click Add management action to track the progress of your RIDDOR report submission.
If you know the incident does not need to be reported to the HSE, or you do not want RIDDOR suggestions for it, you can disable RIDDOR suggestions within the record.
