Can I view incidents linked to a specific student in the Medical area?

The iAM Medical feature allows authorised users to view incidents linked to an individual student, providing a clear record of previous incidents involving that student.

This helps schools access relevant incident information alongside a student's medical records, supporting informed decision making, safeguarding and appropriate care.

How do I view incidents linked to a student?

Navigate to the Medical area within your iAM account & select 'Register'  

Search for and select the student whose incident history you would like to view.

Open their individual medical profile.

Locate the Incidents tab to view incidents linked to that student.

Select an incident to view further details, where your permissions allow.

What information can I view?

The linked incidents tab within the medical area provides access to incidents previously recorded against the selected student within iAM.

This allows you to:

Review previous incidents: Access a history of incidents involving the specific student.

Support informed decisions: Refer to historical incidents when considering a student's medical or wellbeing needs.

Maintain a clear audit trail: Access existing incident records without needing to search separately within the Incidents area.

Why can't I see a student's linked incidents?

Access to incident information is controlled by your account's roles and permissions.

If you're unable to view linked incidents, you may not have the necessary permissions. Please contact your Account Owner or an administrator with the appropriate access if necessary.
