Can I notify staff of a new course deadline?

You can ensure staff members are kept up to date with key training course refreshers and any assigned course deadlines.

This feature is available for Account Owners and Location Managers



When a Location Manager or Account Owner sets a new deadline for the whole school, a specific group or particular users, learners will promptly receive an email notification confirming the newly set course deadline.

Following the deadline setup, an Account Owner and Location Manager will also receive a comprehensive summary email confirming any outstanding deadlines.

In addition, the iAM Training platform proactively sends email notifications for specific activities such as course refreshers and reminders for course deadlines; encouraging users to repeat key competency training in order to stay 'refreshed’ and up to date.

For our Health & Safety and Compliance courses, as well as topics such as safeguarding, users will receive a reminder to retake the course every 12 months. This reminder will be sent to their registered email address and will also trigger a notification within the system.

If you wish to modify these settings, you have the choice to deactivate the notifications or customise them to your preference. Simply access the iAM Training Manager and navigate to settings.




From here, you can update your preferences, adjust the message content, refine the timing of notifications, and choose which notifications go out.






Please note that course refresher emails cannot be amended within the Training Manager settings. If you would prefer for us to remove these reminder emails, please contact us at support@iamcompliant.com.
