Are all of the tasks you suggest required by law?

In a way, yes. The Health and Safety at Work Act requires you to ensure that you provide a safe environment for your staff and visitors. That is a pretty wide statement so we break the tasks down into two categories; Compliance and Maintenance. 

  • Compliance tasks definitely need to occur
  • Planned Maintenance tasks are guidelines to keep you within the legal remit of the HSAW Act.
